KVK, Tura Celebrates Swachhta Pakhwara
KVK, ICAR, Tura celebrated a special Swachhta Pakhwara during 16th – 25th May, 2016. The fortnight long programme started by administering Swachhta Pledge to officers and staff of KVK which was followed by cleanliness drive in the official premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
Dr. Tanmay Samajdar, Programme Coordinator administered the pledge at KVK on 16.05.2016 and briefed about the importance of cleanliness in raising the efficiency and performance and bringing conductive work atmosphere in the KVK. As a part of the Swachhta Pakhwara, the pledge was also administered by the Programme Coordinator to the schools and students of Chunmati L.P. School, Sangsanggre, West Garo Hills on 18th May, 2016. The KVK staff and the students of the school joined hands to clean the school campus including the class rooms.
